What Causes Burning Sensation In The Stomach After Removal Of Ovarian Cyst?

I had currently feeling burning sensation on my stomach. It is like gastric pain. Besides that, I used to underwent a surgery to remove cyst from my ovary. I realize I have been exposed to second hand smoker every time I analyse my health. I know stress can also be one of the reason of developing acidic in stomach. Can second hand smoker leads to gastric and other illness such as ovarian cyst? I have a manager who smokes in the office and not at smoking area where I am literally exposed to it quite frequent lately. I am quite stressed over this issue and I am so clueless how to tell him as I have given him the clue and he seems to unable to adhere to it. Please advice.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to gastritis. It is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach. I suggest using antacids such as Maloox three tablets a day. I also recommend to use PPI medication such as Omeprazole in the morning before breakfast.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
