What Causes Burning Sensation In The Shin And Calf Muscle Stiffness After An Injury?
My husband fell and hit his shin and calf. He fell thru a floor and it was 4 days ago and it s still swelling and purple , etc his calf is stiff and he says his shin is burning. He currently has an ice pack and is elevated and has no burning but when not elevated it burns.The bruising is going down to his foot.

I think the burning sensation is cause from the hematoma that developed on the soft tissues.The symptoms will go away in about 2 or 3 weeks time
