What Causes Burning Sensation In The Penis And Buttock?
Hi last night I had a severe burning sensation on my balls penis and bum. I had a bath to calm it but it remained. While in the bath I felt around to see a cause.. I felt in my balls it felt almost like fluid moving. Also small red dots on my penis and balls. Please help!
Burning sensation in the penis, buttocks associated with discomfort in the balls is commonly due to UTI, prostatitis, testicular torsion, epididymitis (caused by sexually transmitted diseases). Other medical conditions that may cause similar symptoms are testicular tumor, trauma, kidney stones, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a urologist.
Get Urinalysis (R/E and C/S), imaging tests and other required investigations done to confirm the pathology causing you discomfort. You will be treated (conservative treatment or surgery) according to the pathology detected and its severity detected. Get STD tests done, if positive you will be treated with antibiotics / antivirals.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
