What Causes Burning Sensation In The Clitoris While Urinating?
Hi Doctor,
Early in the hours of the morning of this morning I felt a sharp burn of urine that goes through to the Clitoris, when I went to go pee as I wiped my urine I see blood on the toilet paper and a have small drops of pee now and again but it feels like lot of pee. I have pain when I pee only .
** Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern and following is symptom wise approach:
1. since clitoris is located close to urethra thus it could be possible the other way round. 2. It is possible UTI [urinary tract infection] and should see a doctor to test for UTI and ask for urine examination. 3. If burning does not subside within 3-4 days or recurs, then urine culture must be done to decide the antibiotics and ask for x-ray K.U.B. & Ultrasonography. 4. make sure if you do get antibiotics make sure to exclude yeast infection since they are known to cause the same. 5. Apply hot compress to the area and add neosporin and drink plenty of fluids and cranberry juice.
