What Causes Burning Sensation In The Central Chest?

Hi Doctor, I have chest burning since few days at the center of chest. I work in shift duties. I ere regular time for having food. The chest burning feels occasionally especially in morning shift and night shift. otherwise there is no such issue apart from acidity. Kindly suggest remedy for the same. Thanks in advance, Nilesh

You can find different antacids that are non-prescription in your local pharmacy. These are used during the attack of heart burn. They are usually very effective and relive the pain immediately.

You should also avoid chilli and spicy food, alcohol, and coffee. Try to avoid mental stress as possible.

If these measures didn't help you get better, there are prescription medications that reduce acid production in the stomach. You can visit your local physician to prescribe the suitable class and dose for your case.
