ENT Specialist 's  Response
Infection for 7 months standing is sure sign of neglect. It could have been quinsy or Ludwig's angina where in lot of pus gets collected which should be drained by specialist surgeon. Consult your ENT doctor and if drainage is complete supportive treatment with vitamins etc will help.
