What Causes Burning Sensation In Legs/hands After Recovering From Bronchopneumonia?

Four weeks ago I was hospitalised with bronchopneumonia. While sick I had pain in my lower legs (in the shin area) and feet. I have recovered from the bronchopneumonia but still have the lower leg pain as well as additional symptoms of burning sensations in my entire legs and hands with joint pain as well as numbness in my calves, behind my knees and the back of my legs below my buttocks.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from reactive arthritis and vitamin deficiency due to you suffered for bronchopneumonia . For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovering. For numbness neurotropic agents like Mecobalamine will be of help. For reactive arthritis I generally give to my patients injection triamcilone intramuscular with good results. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
