What Causes Burning Sensation In Hip And Groin?

I am 68 years old and am having trouble with my right groin and hip. My doctor said it is an abductor muscle and sent me for therapy. But I limp, have burning sensation in my upper leg (female) and when I put weight on the leg it really hurts. Sometimes my leg will suddenly just go out from under me. This has been going on for over a year and getting worse. Walking up and down inclines really hurt and carrying anything on the painful side puts pressure on my leg/hip. I can only relate it back to a time at theYMCA when I used a exercise machine where you push out with your upper thighs. It is supposed to reduced hip fat and build muscle. It began to hurt after I did that. My bones are not strong since I had beast cancer and have been without hormones since I was 42. What do you think? Thanks Betsey in Michigan

Analgesic such as ibuprofen given to relieve pain. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us.
