Hello,

Lower esophageal sphincter lax may lead to acid reflux into chest lead to pain at center of the chest. It may be repaired by fundoplication surgery or sphincter repair.

At the same time, you have to rule out other possibilities of chest pain like cardiac pain or lung infection or herpes zoster.

Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. If symptoms don't improve, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
