HI thanks for posting your query on HCM.

Red wine when taken for the first time can result in side effects related to gut in few susceptible individuals.

This can be due to effects on enzyme metabolism.

Wine can occasionally inhibit the production of gastroprotective prostraglandins.

This can lead to reduced production of mucus and subsequent gastritis, due to acid damage on the gut mucosa.

This coupled heat with excess production due to its thermogenic action can lead to burning sensation of the anus.

You seem to have an inherent susceptibility to metabolize alcohol and its products. Its better to keep them away.

Consult your family doctor for further queries.
Thank you,
Take care
