What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?

It started like yesterday, at first I would literally just pee, and I d be almost done, but it d BURN, and there wouldn t even be much pee. Today, the left side of my stomach started hurting. I let it go, but after a couple hours, it started throbbing. It feels slightly swollen. It hurts to move, but it s still a little tolerable. I don t think I ll be able to sleep. Also, I m a teenager, if that helps.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi .
Thanks for posting on hcm.
From your sympyoms I suppose you might be suffering with urinary tract intection.
I recommemd you to get an urinary analysis done to confirm it if it comes negative there may be a possibility of ureteric stone in lieu of abdominal pain.
If uti is confirmed you need to take antibiotics for infection an need to take lot of fluids to flush out the bacteria from the bladder if possible prefer cranberry juice.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Regards
