What Causes Burning Sensation Between Thumb And Index Finger With Arm Numbness?

i have a hot burning sensation between my thumb and index finger and slight numbness in right arm what can be the cause of this?i just want to mention i have a herniated disc in my neck. also for the pass week i have had a small knot like in my right leg it hurts only when i touch it. can you diagnose me, as i type the sensation in my hand gets worse.
