Hi. When a fracture heals there is overgrowth of the bone called callous formation. This will remodell with time. The overgrowth can put pressure on the nerves going past there and you possibly have irritation in the deep peroneal nerve that goes down to the toes. I suggest that you have a proper neurologic examination to verify where the pressure is located and have it remedied before you get further damage to the nerve.
