What Causes Burning Sensation And Lower Abdominal Pain After Taking Alprim Tablet?

my daughter 16 years was diagnosed with a UTI 2 days ago- she had taken 2 Alprim tablets and today the symptoms seem to have increased- more burning and more pain in lower abdomen. How long before Aprim should start to work ? she weighs 46kg and the tabs are 300mg one a day

Dear user,
Alprim is used to treat the UTI caused by sensitive organisms.Its recommended dose in 12 years and above is 300mg once a day for 7 days. Your daughter has taken double dose which actually not needed.Side effects of Alprim are mostly rash,itching which is not similar to side effects mentioned above. Total bed rest, drink plenty of fluids to relieve from burning sensation.

Please repeat the test after treatment.. If it does not get cured then you have to take broad spectrum antibiotics such as amoxy-clav or levoflox
