I am a 60 year old married woman who has occasionally sex with my husband. As of the past 6 months I have pain along with sex. Not a burning type of sensation but almost the same kind when you had your very first sexual encounter. Is that due to menopause.
Hi, Looking to the history it seems that your problem is due to menopause. During this period low estrogen level there is dry vagina due to atrophic changes in vaginal wall leading to this problem. You can use oestrogen cream like novelon cream after consulting gynaec. Meanwhile ask your partner to use lubricant during sex. Go for good amount of foreplay before sex. Ok and take care.
