What Causes Burning And Tingling Sensation On Scalp During Menstrual Cycle?

I itched my scalp after letting my hair down and suddenly stared having burning and tingling sensations on my scalp it was very dicomforting. I washed my hair and I am still experiencing the burning sensation. I also would like to mention I am in my menstrual cycle. Is this a hot flash? I have never experienced one. Thanks 24 year old woman

HI
Well come to HCM
Such symptoms of scalp pain due to hair pulling may be due to some fungal infection of hair root and this need to be ruled out, if this is found something like that then this need to be treated accordingly and if this does not exist then no need to worry about this, this is not the hot flush, hope this information helps, take care.
