General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear,

Thanks for choosing HCM.

Based on the symptoms you mentioned above, i suspect you have a disorder known as Meralgia Paresthetica.

This is mainly due by a trapped sensory nerve that travels to your thigh area.It can be caused be several reasons, wearing tight clothes specially tight belt or tight trousers, diabetes, weight gain etc.

I suggest that you go to neurologist so that they can check your condition and run the appropriate tests to rule out other underlining diseases and also to reach to the cause of the Meralgia Paresthetica. Your doctor might suggest you do several tests such XRI, CT or MRI to reach to good diagnosis. Treatment will be based on the cause of the disease.

In the mean time please try to more loose clothes, you can take pain killer such as Paracetamol or Ibuprofen to reduce the pain.

Hope this helped

If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask .

Wishing you all the best.
