What Causes Burning And Soreness In Upper Chest Area In An Asthmatic Person?

I am an asthmatic. On Tuesday of last week I noticed a burning or soreness that started where my lungs and throat connected. Twice since then I have woken up twice really sweaty, then proceeded by freezing cold to the point of shivering. I haven t had a fever at all though. Friday I started to notice issues with my voice. On Sunday, today, it is completely gone. I have had a dry cough that brought up little to no phlegm all along.
