What Causes Burning And Blood In Urination?

I have chronic itp I also have kidney problems my ph in my pee is high. I m on meds for both problem penicillin for having my spleen removed and potassium for the high ph. last night out of nowhere it stared to burning when I went pee I thought it was another uti, then I stared to see bright red blood clots every time I went pee also it also burns when I pee Should I be worried ?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have chronic immuno thrombocytopenic purpura. You have bleeding and burning sensation in urine. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination. If it shows any infection then you should take antibiotics treatment accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful.

You should also check your platelet count. If it is very low then steroids should be taken.

These all are prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
