Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history your child is having either an atopic eczema or pityriasis alba.
Both the conditions may be increased by fever.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't worry. It will be cured soon with proper care.
2. Use a mild glycerine soap like dove or pears. Avoid using antiseptic soaps or liquid like Dettol.
3. Apply a good emollient like enmoist cream twice daily.
4. Other treatment options are topical mild steroid like hydrocortisone cream, oral antihistamines, oral antibiotics.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
