What Causes Bumps On Mons Pubis?

i have several bumps on my Mons pubis. Started occurring when i started shaving years ago. they have never disappeared. Also, i from time to time have puss filled swellings on my Mons pubis which is painful and goes after a few days. what could be the issue? I have never been sexually active and maintain a good hygiene. Thanks

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the recurrent bumps on mons pubis, painful, remaining for few days and vanishing after pus filling may be indicative of fungal or bacterial infection of the area most likely.

This issue can happen with best of the hygiene and absence of sexual activity as well. The prime consideration of ruling out diabetes and immuno-compromised status as that of HIV or else has to be considered before head. In my clinic, I do recommend certain lab tests of blood, culture sensitivity report of the pus for best results.
