I gave blood last week, and I ve noticed that I have bumps on the arm that I gave blood with. The bumps look exactly like goose bumps. There is no itching or pain, but the bumps are slightly raised. It isn t there on my other arm, so I was wondering what it is. I m sure it isn t serious, but I am just curious as to why it happens!
Dear patient it may be due to inflammation of vein from which blood was collected known as phlebitis. It is not a serious conditions. Apply cold compresses and thrombophobe ointment locally. It may take months to disappear but do not worry.
