What Causes Bulging Of Veins And Itching In Ankle?
Hi,
my ankle suddenly became very itchy and the veins were bulging. After rubbing my ankle it immediately bruised and the surrounding area hurts as well. What would cause this and should I be concerned? I have veins in my leg since I was a child and I just gave birth to my second child two months ago. I am 5'7" and 145lbs so I don't think my weight is a factor.

I have gone through your complaints.as you have said there are dilated veins in leg from childhood,now complained of itching at anke ibducates there is pooling of venous blood causing now itching later discolouration and ulceration.meet a radiologist for venous doppler to know the cause of varicosity and what extent and severity.depending upon this you wil be advised.
