What Causes Bulging Of Vein On Forehead Caused After Head Injury?
My 1 year old son bumped his head about 2 weeks ago ..we took him to urgent care and dr. Said it was just a bad contusion. He now has a bulging vein where the bump was on his forhead. When I touch it he doesn t seem in pain but it s making me nervous that it s not gone yet.

If the vein bulge is not painful and is not associated with any inflammation like redness, swelling of forehead, you can observe it for 4 to 5 days. It will resolve by itself. Even after the mentioned period of time, the vein bulge persists, then you can take him to a child specialist.
