General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your detailed history about allergy, erythronodosum, digestive problems and mainly a bulge in right inguinal region. The commonest cause is inguinal hernia. This is diagnosed by a simple test. Put a palm on the bulge and cough hard. If there is increase in size with a pulsation that you can feel and this is hernia. Further confirmed by ease to reduce it to become impalpable on pressure.

Lymph nodes: do not increase or reduce on coughing. I would advise you to consult a General Surgeon for clinical examination and ultrasound for additional confirmation. If hernia is present, there is no medicine hence surgery must be done. For lymph node get FNAC done for confirmation after ultrasound. Continue the treatment for your other problems.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
