What Causes Bruising And Swelling On The Finger?

Electric mixer cut finger. July 3 requiring many stitches. ER doctor did not precstibe antibiotic. Finger has been extremely sensitive to even a light touch. Stitches out this Wednesday. Finger looks terrible, bruised and swollen. 41 year old s pain and sensitivity is beyond words. What to do?

pain and sensitivity on the finger is due to nerve injury. antibiotics should have be taken in an open wound injury requiring suturing. you can start with tab cefuroxime(250) twice daily, tab chymoral forte twice daily which will reduce swelling and aid in healing and some pain killers.
