What Causes Bruising And Lump At The Back Of Head?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have a swollen area only left side of head/neck below the ear and towards the back of my head there is a pea sized lump and the whole area feels bruised, there was a painful spot above my ear 2 days ago which has gone now, I am 6 weeks pregnant, di can only apply heat and ice, could It be an infected lymphnode and how should I treat it?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have some enlarged lymphnode due to reactive hyperplasia. You should go for examination and take a course of antibiotics. if it doesn't respond to treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable to rule out tuberculosis or lymphoma. It is prescription based medicine and you are pregnant so consult your doctor before taking any drug.
