What Causes Bruised Skin Under Eyes And On Eyelids?

The skin under both of my eyes and on my eyelids look bruised, some blue, a little red and a little yellow. This appeared first around early December and then went away after about three days. It has come back this week. I was fighting a cold/flu in December and a relapse of same symptoms earlier this week. What could this be from?

Well come to HCM
This is periorbital hyperpigmentation or discoloration and it could be due to several reason right from bleeding, hereditary, functional, anemia, and underlying cause is matter here, try to have good sound sleep, low down your stress, eat healthy, get done some routine tests, does not need any specific medicine for this to reduce the clinical symptom, take care.
