I suddenly had an acute pain on the inside of my left shoulder radiating somewhat into my armpit. I applied ice to the area but a few days later I woke up to a very large bruise and swelling where my bicep muscle is. It is very tender and is moving downward as if the blood is moving a little to my elbow. Do I have a torn muscle or tendon? I have arthritis and have had this shoulder scoped a few years ago. I am 75 years old. I do have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor in a couple of days.
