What Causes Bruise On Leg After Starting Birth Control Pill?
Hi, my 17 year old daughter developed a large bruise which now has lines through it. She does not recall hitting or banging her leg, although she did work last night at a retail store in our mall. She is worried that it could be related to a recent birth control pill her adolescent medicine specialist put her on due to nausea and vomiting with menstrual cramps.

I really appreciate your concern, such lesions could be due to allergic condition and this could be self limiting, just wait for some time and it will be fine if not then it need to be clinically examined, some time this could be due to hormone medicines, and care need to be taken for that, hope this information helps, take care.
