What Causes Bruise On Calf?

I have a broken foot and have been on a knee scooter for 1 month. My good calf now has what appears to be a bruise or surface vein that is about 2 long, it s sore like a bruise, but I didn t do anything that would cause a bruise to appear. Just wondering if I should be concerned.

I really appreciate your concern, keep the leg in elevated position and have some NSAID and best would be "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg' three times in day, if this is not improving then it need to be taken care for some underlying causes and for this clinical examination is must, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
