What Causes Brownish Particles In Urine And Abdominal Pain?
i am 44years old.stopped smoking in 2006 after about 10years.i drink water always but yesterday morning,i noticed brownish particles in my urine that was equally brownish.A night before i experienced pains around my abdomen and also some sensations whenever i urinate.
Brown particles in urine with abdomen pain indicate possible urinary tract infection with sloughing of epithelial cells from the urinary bladder. My guidelines for better recovery: - Drink more liquids - Consume cranberry sachet with glass of drinking water - Consume more of citrus fruits - Chewable vitamin c tablets - Urinary alkaliser as potassium citrate - Prescription of antibiotics as Fluoroquinolones, Nitrofurantoin or others as per the doctor's choice - Genital hygiene care - Control of blood sugar
Later on as per the progress of the clinical condition, your doc may advise you for the need of urine microscopy with or without ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
