What Causes Brownish Discharge And Severe Abdominal Pain During Menstruation?

Hi. I have had awful stomach pains lately, ranging to dull period cramps.. But my period began January 21th, and was gone by January 25th/26th.. Yesterday I experienced a brownish red discharge but only when I wiped. I took a pregnancy test the day before the discharge, and it came out negative. What could it be?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Following are the causes of your problem:
1. Normal menstruation cycle can cause brownish discharge, as remaining uterine wall shedding occur.
2. Vaginal infections
3. Vaginitis
4. Pelvic inflammatory disease
5. Cervicitis
6. Endometriosis
7. PCOS
8. Adenomyosis/fiboid

I think it may be normal menstruation process or may be infections.
Take tablet Meftal spa three times a day
Drink lots of water
Take rest
You should maintain hygiene and keep vaginal area dry.
wash by using warm water with added salt.
Wear loose cotton underwear.
You should use following single dose treatment for all such patients:

1. AZEE 1000 mg (AZITHROMYCIN)
2. TINI 1 G (TINIDAZOLE)
3. ZOCON 150 mg (FLUCONAZOLE)



If problem persists consult the gynecologist and
undergo the following test:
1. PAP smear
2. Gram stain and Culture from discharge
3. PCR and nucleic acid amplification test
4. Endometrial biopsy
5. USG
