Hi,

Contraceptive implant doesn't work after expiry and fertility returns to normal soon after the protection period is over.

Brown discharge is due to outflow of retained or old blood. It is too early to predict whether you could be pregnant or not based on some of the symptoms you are experiencing.

Since your period date is yet to come, kindly wait for it. If there is a delay, take urine pregnancy test followed by trans-vaginal ultrasound scan to confirm the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
