What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?

Good day. I have vaginal discharge that ranges from color - light brown to dark brown and sometimes it has a red color as well which has been lasting for more than 2 months. I have to wear panty liners/pads as sometimes a huge blob of brown gooey discharge comes out. I get mild cramps mostly everyday especially when pressure is put on my abdomen eg. washing the dishes and the table counter presses against my abdomen and other times I get aggressive cramps in my abdomen that folds me in two. There is no foul odor present and some look like clots.

Hello,

It may be due to uterine fibroid or pelvic inflammatory disease or polyps or cervical erosion or normal variety.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. Local examination and culture and sensitivity.

Please consult your gynecologist she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
