What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Provera Pill?
I am NOT on the depo provera shot. I am on the generic version of the provera pill and just spotted some brown discharge. My Gynecologist prescribed me 10mg for 5 days to jump start my period so that I can get it regulated. I am supoosed to get back with her in 5 days if having it to start metformin ro regulate my cycles I am hoping to conceive.(have PCOS) I dont know if this discharge means I ll be having my period soon or if it means I am or what. Please help me thanks.

brown vaginal discharge could mean the onset of periods within a day or two.
However, onset of periods is usually expected from 3-7 days after your medication course is over.
If it is foul smelling or you have any itching or pain , an infection needs to be ruled out.
