What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Lo Loestrin?

I have been on lo estrin for about 4 months, and the first month i was on it i had my period every 2 weeks. Then the third month i had dark brown discharge when i was supposed to get my period. Now this month i have the same, dark brown almost black discharge, but its a week early. Is this normal for that birth control?

No, this is not normal.
Birth control pills can cause infection and hormonal imbalance and both can cause brown vaginal discharge and menstrual irregularities.
So consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination, hormone levels and microscopic examination of discharge.
You may need antibiotic suppositories.
Avoid moisture and perspiration in private parts. Keep proper hygiene of private parts.
