What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Post Intake Of Plan B?

Hello. I had sex with my partner and the condom broke. This was about one week ago, and a week after my period ended. I took Plan B within two hours of the incident, we got to the nearest CVS as soon as possible. I am now experiencing some light brown discharge, cramps, and tender breasts. Could i be getting my period early or is this implantation bleeding?

I understand your concern.
What you have done is right by taking emergency contraceptive pill Plan B by 2 hours after the incident of breakage of condom.
Some of them might experience symptoms like vaginal discharge, abdominal pain, breast tenderness, nausea and dizziness after the intake of the pill as these are hormonal preparations. Some of these you are also experiencing.
But nothing to be worried about. The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding in the form of periods within 3 weeks from the day of intake of the pill. Most of the times, this happens within a week.
In case it doesn't happen, you need to seek medical attention immediately.
