What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Menstruation?

I have had a brown vaginal discharge for about 2 weeks starting shortly after my last period. There are no other symptoms accompanying the discharge. I had 1 sexual partner before my last period. The discharge ranges from light to heavy. Because there are no other symptoms, I a bit confused. I am 22 years old. Do you know what this may be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Looking at your short history this could be due to STI ectopic pregnancy or endometriosis

in my opinion you should consult a gynaecologist for examination and a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin CBC Liver function test blood sugar and urine culture and sensitivity test
a vaginally saw test will be helpful in establishment of diagnosis

have plenty of fluids
maintain good hygiene
multivitamin supplements

thanks for your question
best wishes
I find this answer helpful
