What Causes Brown Discharge While Suffering From Tinnitus And Blocked Eustachian Tube?

Hi I have been sick with sinus & ear problems (tinnitus & blocked eustachian tube) for the past month. When I went to change my bed clothes this morning I noticed a large light brown stain covering most of my pillow after I took off the pillow cover. What is causing this?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
As per your history you are suffering from eustachian tube blockage.
Eustachian tube is connected with ear, nasal cavity and sinuses.
The blockage of eustachian tube can lead to collection of secretions in sinuses and thus cause infection & inflammation.
Tinnitus is also most probably due to blockage of eustachian tube.
Thus, opening of eustachian tube is required in the first place to relieve the tinnitus and sinusitis.
The brown colored discharge can be from the ear as a result of infection.
I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment and thus management.

Thanks and take care
