What Causes Brown Coloured Skin Tag In The Navel?

Hey, there is a fleshy growth in my belly button which was there for almost 1.5 year, dont know exactly when it appeared. It looks like warr but it is bigger then first its appearing. Also it looks like there is small one next to big one. Color is brownish. Is it wart or anything else? İf it is wart, is it count as genital or just common. Belly button is strange place to grow wart right? I m 21 year old male without sexual relation( so it is not genital?)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would not be considered a sexual transmitted infection since there is no history of contact.

It is possible that it may be a wart, other possible cause would be a lipoma (lump composed of fat) or fibroma (lump composed of scar tissue or connective tissue).

The only way to definitively determine the exact nature of the mass would be an examination by your doctor.

I hope this helps
