General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the white discharge per vagina do indicates underlying cervical infection, pelvic inflammatory condition or others. In my clinic, I do recommend:
- Per vaginal and speculum examination
- Culture swab report of the vaginal discharge for sensitivity evaluation whether bacteria, fungi responsible
- Plenty of liquids to avoid secondary urinary infection
- Abstinence from sex till recovery
- Vaginal hygiene care

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
