What Causes Breathlessness, Hot And Sweaty?

Hello,
Yesterday I became upset over an argument at work. I was crying a little bit and started to feel a little light headed and like I was going to faint. I sat down and became quite hot and sweaty. My face, neck and arms went a really bright red. I felt that my heart was beating fast and that breathing seemed to not get enough oxygen. This all stayed for about 30 mins. Then slowly went back to normal. Since then I have been really tired.
What is going on?
Thanks

hi
this is stress or anxiety related acute changes due to adrenaline surge in the body.
this is due to increased heart rate and decreased oxygen supply to the heart during stress.
just relax at such moments.

if such episodes are more repetitive you can meet the cardiologist to get evaluated
take care
