Hi welcome to HCM.
Sensation of pins and needles, with shortness of breath in your case has to be evaluated carefully through a baseline ecg and 2 dimensional echocardiography to rule out organic hypertensive heart disease. In all cases you need to maintain your blood pressure under 125/80 mm of hg pressure.Restrict the intake of salt to less than 6 gm/day.Regular brisk walk for 20 min a day for 5 days a week will help.Complete renal profile will help to keep track of your kidney's function.Have a good sleep around 6-8 hrs a day.Stress management can largely control your symptoms in the absence of elevated blood pressures.Periodical health checks are advised for primary prevention.Consult your cardiologist for further assistance.
Thank you.
