What Causes Breathlessness And Fatigue In Smokers?
I AM 66 YEARS OLD AND I DO SMOKE MAYBE FOUR TO FIVE CIGS A DAY. I VE QUIT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE BUT STILL LIKE ONE WHEN I FINISH EATING. ANYWAY MY LADY STARTED USING A HEATER IN OUR BEDROOM BECAUSE SHE LIKES IT HOT. THE HEAT STARTED BOTHERING ME AND I NOTICED A REAL PROBLEM BREATHING ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO. I M HAVING A REAL PROBLEM BREATHING AND I M RUNNING OUT A AIR CONSTANTLY. I WANTED TO START GONG BACK TO THE GYM BUT I HAVE STOPPED GOING TO THE GYM BECAUSE I M TIRED ALL THE TIME AND I HAVE NO ENERGY TO DO ANYTHING...... WHAT S WRONG?
Smoking particle deposits in lung alveoli and make them functionally poor.So one can not get sufficient oxygen to reach to blood circulation. To get more oxygen heart pumps fast and lungs have to work more which is fruitless due to bad lungs of smoker and causes breathlessness. And due to nonavailability of sufficient oxygen as well as more efforts in breathing energy lost and fatigue feels.
