What Causes Breathing Difficulty With Pain And Swelling In The Throat?
I ve had trouble breathing over the last coupe of weeks because my throat feels very swollen. Now one side of my throat really hurts - I looked with a flashlight in the mirror and all the blood vessels in the throat are super prominent. Should I go to the doctor or wait this out?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of breathing difficulty with pain and swelling in the throat which is because of infection of respiratory tract leading to granular pharyngitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take decongestants and take decongestant nasal spray. Do warm saline gargles and take steam inhalation. Take antibiotic course of Levofloxacin for 5 days. Visit ENT specialist once and get complete examination done. Go for blood tests and throat swab test. Start treatment after proper diagnosis. Chew Vitamin C pellet to booster immunity. Keep yourself hydrated and eat soft and liquid meal.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
