Hi,

These symptoms can be due to various reasons:
-Kidney issues.
-Anxiety.
-Drugs to treat asthma and respiratory diseases.
-Diabetes mellitus.
-Problems in salivary glands.
-Sjogren's syndrome.
-Old age leading to gland atrophy.

I don't know precisely about your medical history, drug intake and age. You don't need to worry. I suggest you:
-Take plenty of liquids.
-Consume orange juice as it stimulates salivation.

But to identify a particular cause and correct it accordingly, you are recommended for:
-Dental consultation especially with an oral medicine specialist.
-Examination with a general physician to rule out any possibility of systemic diseases like diabetes, Sjogren's syndrome, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
