What Causes Breathing Difficulty, Stiffness In Neck And Headache?

i have a headache, stiffenss in my neck muscles and painful to breath in. Most of the pain is above my breast line. I have been bitten by several ticks over the past 3 months. I went to doctor today and temp was 98.3 and is now 99.1. She took blood but no results are back yet. I live on a farm, and work with dogs and chickens. I don t know if I should go to the ER or not

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have breathing difficulty, stiffness in neck and headache. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like chest infection , sleeping apnea , sore throat , tonsillitis or cardiac problem .

I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test along with blood culture test . Doctor may also order sleep study to rule out sleep apnea . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory. Doctor may also refer you to orthopedician for stiff neck .
