What Causes Bowel Movement Immediately After Taking Formula Milk?

Hello Doctor, my baby girl is 6 days old today. i am producing low milk and that s why my baby is not satisfied. I am also feeding her with the formula milk. But lately i have noticed that immediately after taking the formula milk she gets bowel movement. Is it because she is not able to digest the formula milk? Kindly advise.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Most of the babies pass motion immediately after feed due to Gastro-colic reflex.
It has nothing to do with formula feed.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
