Hello,

Your symptoms make me think of the following possibilities:
1) Irritable bowel syndrome
2) Amoebic dysentery
3) Inflammatory bowel disease

Most probably yours is Amoebic dysentery as you have stool urgency and yellow mucus in stool. My recommendations are as follows:
1) Take tab. Oflox OZ that contains ofloxacin 200 mg and ornidazole 500 mg daily twice for 5 days
2) Tab. Redotil 100mg once daily for 5 days
3) Also, use any probiotics for 15 days

If your symptoms persist for 3 days, see a gastroenterologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
